About

Hey, I'm Johannes Jakob, 28, a kreative and well-structured (with a few rare exceptions ;) ) research assistant at the University Bayreuth, Chair for Visual Computing. Currently I work for the "Bayrische Forschungsstiftung For3D, where I develop algorithms that use the GPU to parallellize well known problems, like compression of mesh and material data or online high-quality surface reconstruction from point clouds.

I love computer graphics, computational geometry, computer vision, robotics and well written, short and elegant code. I'am interested in applications of neural networks in the field of computer graphics and Mixed/Augmented Reality.
